It is very informative and true to the word. I believe that, I myself have a natural level of Empathy. And from a very young age i was able to understand peoples emotion and somewhat 'predict', in a sense someone's mental state of mind. I have Cerebral Palsy, which I have had from birth, and in a sense I believe that this has something to do with my ability to be Empathetic towards others. The belief that I wasn't necessarily Physically there for a person, but more so mentally and Emotionally supporting a person. In some people Empathy is a part of someone's genetic makeup.
